By Your Friendly Outdoor Gear Expert - October 2023

Hey there, fellow shooting enthusiasts! Today, I’m diving into something that’s been making waves in the gun community—the PSA Olcan in 300 Blackout. Now, if you’re like me and enjoy a good day on the range, you’ll want to stick around as I share my thoughts on this unique bullpup design that’s not just a conversation starter but also a solid option for shooters looking for something compact and suppressor-friendly.

First Impressions of the PSA Olcan

Let’s get straight to the point: the PSA Olcan is more than just your average bullpup. Built on the JAKL platform, this rifle offers a fresh take on what a compact firearm can be. Its sleek design is not only eye-catching but also practical, providing an easy-to-handle setup for those of us who value maneuverability without sacrificing performance.

Why 300 Blackout?

If you’re wondering why I’m stoked about the 300 Blackout caliber, it’s because this round delivers versatility like no other. Whether you're looking to hit targets at the range or need something that works well with suppressors for quieter outings, 300 Blackout has got your back. Plus, it’s a great choice for those who might want to dabble in some hog hunting or varmint control!

Range Time: Performance Review

I took the PSA Olcan out for some serious range time, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint! From the get-go, it felt balanced and responsive. The trigger was smooth, making follow-up shots a breeze. What really stood out was its accuracy; even at longer distances, it performed admirably. I had no issues with cycling—this baby just keeps going!

Affordability Meets Reliability

Now let’s talk about one of my favorite points: affordability. In a world where quality gear often comes with a hefty price tag, PSA has managed to keep the Olcan accessible for regular shooters like us. You don’t have to break the bank to get your hands on a reliable bullpup that performs exceptionally well.

The Bottom Line

If you’re in the market for a compact firearm that ticks all the right boxes—suppressor-friendly, reliable performance, and budget-friendly—look no further than the PSA Olcan in 300 Blackout. It’s definitely worth considering if you want something unique that stands out both at the range and in your gear collection.

So grab your gear, hit those trails or ranges, and enjoy everything this fantastic bullpup has to offer!
